(Pay for Performance, or Justification for Compensation).<br /> <br />There is absolutely a HOPE for performance based pay, but as my wife likes to remind me...."hope is not a strategy".<br /><br />What companies need to do is put together a real, workable strategy and plan for how to evolve into more performance-based world. Consultants need to provide less theory and more evidence. Together we can make this happen.<br /><br />The top performers generally love the idea or pay for performance. They are often frustrated by programs that are poorly communicated or not structured around what people are "told" to do.
